Found Ancestry DNA Project researcher "V.D.S" seeking the ancestry of Thomas Clevenger born 1824 OH died 1897 IN married to Mary.......? He did not have the parentage of said Thomas Clevenger.
I thought he might have a link with McKay family through Clevenger, but other's tree does not have that link.
However, this blood line has Richard Lippincott & Abigail Goody, he through son Restore and I through another son.
He also has: Budd, Stockton, Garwood, Shinn (could be linked to McKay) & Gaskill.
So he is a distant cousin with the above families.
Researcher "Donald N. Hester" descend of Richard Lippincott the emigrate through his son Restore to his daughter Abigail. This bit of DNA goes into the blood lines of my grandfather Walter Eugene Shipp.
He is also descend of the emigrate Richard Stockton through his daughter Elizabeth who married Wm. Budd. So we also share Budd ancestry. These bits of DNA went into my grandmother Daisy Love McKay.

The Cooksey line intermarried with my Gist Family, which I have confirmed the line through various DNA profiles.
Cookey family does have a y marker project run by Family Tree DNA. Just another "R".
Books have been published about the family, as well as many secondary source material published.

Going back 10 generations.
Researcher "JMA" descend of Samuel Cooksey & C. Tennison through their son John to his son John Baptist Cooksey. This bit of DNA went into the blood lines of my grandfather Roy D. Hopgood.

I now have four distant Dawkins cousin we all descend from couple George Dawkins & wife Mary Warwick. My line their daughter Mary Dawkins known to have married Benjamin Edwards my line from their son Gerrard Edwards (three of his known descend) wife Jamima.........? my line through son Wm. Edwards.
These four Dawkins confirms my Edwards line from Benjamin Edwards to myself.
Researcher "kbennett711" has this Dawkins, but also my Lankin & Semmes.
Researcher "boulderboy75" descend of another son of the emigrate George Dawkins (1655-1727) through son Wm. born 1683. The other distant cousin from my line George to George Jr. This is more evidence of my line of Edwards of Fauquier Co. VA. Part of my grandfather Walter Eugene Shipp gene pool.

Researcher "Lunderwood1225" found Ancestry DNA Project descend of couple Peter & Elizabeth (Fielding) Rucker through their daughter Margaret Rucker who married Isaac Tinsley. Now we have five samples from this line.
Researcher "SGD0424" descend of Peter's daughter Margaret. Now we have six kits from his line.

I am desparately searching for proof of Charity Carrington Wells parents.
Please email me if you have solid proof. My charity was married to Joseph
Wells. I can't find birth information or anything. Its a big mystery.
Ancestry DNA Project two researchers "C.B." tree Birdsong Oakley and "NCO53" both descend from Charity Carrington (1730-1803) married Joseph Wells. She daughter of John who was the eldest son of Dr. Paul Carrington.
If you think you descend from the same couple who should match your DNA sample with them, because I am a rather distant cousin and I am matching!!

Found Ancestry DNA Project researcher "vipervols1" descend of Daniel Ball born 30 Oct 1745 Middlesex Co. VA died 29 Sep 1794 VA married to Elizabeth Osborne. He does not give parentage of his line.
His Daniel son of Daniel and he son of Edward Ball & Keziah Osborne. Believe I have three DNA matches for his line.
If you believe you are member of this group of Ball Family in early VA, plenty of samples on file with Ancestry & Family Tree DNA. Or if you are researching Ball Family in VA, doing DNA test is a must.
Researcher "treasure52" tree Treasure Family Tree descend of this couple through daughter Mary who married Captain Daniel Huddleton. This is the first from this child of said couple.

Found Ancestry DNA Project researcher "toes2tango" descend of Phebe Denton wife of Wm. Plumlee/Plumley. She was the daughter of Abraham & Mary (Odell) Denton.
I descend from Abraham's son Samuel Denton.
She most likely also a Duke cousin.
Researcher "Tim Harris" descend of Abraham Denton & his wife Mary Odell through their daughter Martha Denton who married first James Moore. I descend from their youngest son Samuel.
He has a Mackay line in Scotland. Considering the time period I seriously doubt his is a really documented line.
He also has an interesting Wright family to study.

Found Ancestry DNA Project researcher "rdcarson58" descend of said couple through son Nathaniel Carrrington. I descend from another son Ephramin. Their sister Mary Carrington was the woman who married into Duke family--William.
I am collecting DNA matches to show that said Ephraim's wife Priscilla was the sister of said Wm. Duke.
Researcher "JAlbert73" his tree Albert Family Tree descend of Celia Carrington born 1788 married in Orange Co. NC to John D. Neeley.
I think his line is from one of John Carrington's younger sons: Thomas or John
Thomas Carrington married Nancy Kennedy daughter of Wagstaff. So this researcher should see if he matches one of this group of Kennedy. He had a daughter Lively & son Thomas. Might try to link up with one of their descends.
John Carrington Jr. married Jemima...........? had daughter Dicey who married into Mangum family and son John J. Carrington.
Census show each man had other children.

Found Ancestry DNA Project sample supply by "Charlesfield10" descend of John Jack Bowling born 1790 Greenbrier VA/WV died 1874 Clay, KY married to Sally.......? born 1801-1853.
He does not give parentage for his line. Other Ancestry Tree supplied the information to link his line with mine.
If researchers would just look at the Family Tree DNA Project Bolling, his line from Benj. Bowling (Group 3) at least 14 Y marker test clearly show this group of Bowling/ Boling etc....no WAY related to the family of Col. Robert Bolling of early VA.
His line Benj. Boling (1734-1832) m. Martha Phelps their son
Wm. Bowling (1755-1830) m. Sarah Fugate son
John Jack Bowling.
His Benjamin brother to my John Bowling (c1730 MD) married to Elizabeth.........?
There is plenty of DNA evidence supporting various lines of this group of Bowling.
Researcher "Martha Pence" tree Pence/Turner Family descend of Benj. & Martha (Phelps) Bowling through their son Jesse B. Bowling. This group of male Y marker kits formed the core of Group 3.
This researcher linked her male line to the wrong group of Bollings those started by Col. Robert Bolling.
