Frederick Co. VA Land Deed Book 67,139 dated 1 Nov 1838, probate date 1 Nov 1838, George R. Long (special commissioner) appointed by the court to convey property in a law suit to Sarah Catlett. The property belonged to the late Henry Catlett, one of the people entitled to his property James H. Sowers in right of his wife Betsy.
Listed in John Vogt's marriage book Frederick Co. VA
James B. SOWERS (sic) & Elizabeth Catlett 28th Nov 1830. He recorded the name wrong should have been James H. Sowers.
According to the 1850 Hampshire Co. VA: James H. Sowers, Sarah Sowers 27 & James Sowers 26. Either said Betsy/Elizabeth was dead or divorced.
I don't think the couple had children.
