After reading through nine rolls of micofilm--Suffolk Co. MA land deeds, two items to ponder.

Vol 16, page 202 on 30 Oct 1692 Daniel Campbell merchant living in Boston, MA sells for 41 pounds 5 shillings to James Maccolly (sic) mariner living in Boston, MA his 1/4 share of a 40 ton ketch named "The Prosperious" former captain Benj. Pitman. Anchored in Salem harbor, Essex Co. MA

I wonder if the surname was not Mackay or Maccoy

Vol 16, page 207 James Macowloy (sic) on 20 Oct 1693 sells for 118 pounds,10 shillings to John Miller late of Glasgow, Scotland, now of New England his 1/4 share of the 40 ton ketch named "The Prosperious" anchored in port of Boston.

Question who had the other 3/4 shares of the ketch ? And was this James Mackay, Maccoy the prisoner of 1651.
