Found on Ancestry DNA site researcher "CEJ" descend of John Hunt born 1708 Essex Co. VA died 1787 same location married to Ann.......?
I do not know how he fits into our group of Hunt.

Ancestry has on file three DNA samples of researchers: "Moore Roger 14", "BS" and "Jmp74 Angel" their samples along with historical records we can give Frances Hunt who married Carey Mitchell ancestry back to the emigrate.
1. Wm. Hunt born 1623 in England, came over 1639 to VA, died 11 Nov 1676 married to Judith Burton, daughter of Richard & Katherine Christian.
2. Wm. Hunt born 1661 died 1714 New Kent Co. VA married Tabitha Edloe, she the daughter of Matthew & Tabitha (Minge) Edloe. The others descend from other daughters of said couple, I and Michael through son
3. George Hunt b. 1684 New Kent Co. VA, d. 7 Feb 1725 same location married 24 Jun 1709 New Kent Co. VA to Elizabeth Poindexter. I have many matches with Poindexter researchers.
4. Richard Hunt born c1710 King Wm. Co. VA, m...........? looking at Carey Family of said county which I share DNA material, just have not figured out if with Carey family or other links.
5. Frances Hunt born c1745 King Wm. Co. VA m. Carey Mitchell, d. c1829 after husband's settlement in Frederick Co. VA. Believe she removed down to Madison Co. VA.
6. Wm. Mitchell b. 6 Aug 1783 King Wm. Co. VA m. Matilda Johnston, d. 29 Sep 1835 present day Warren Co. VA.

I have not looked to see what has been published dealing with Hunt, Edloe, Minge or Burton.
Researcher "janiceroot48" descend of Wm. Hunt through daughter Mary Hunt who married Wm. Allen. My line from his son George Hunt who fathered Richard Hunt (still looking for his wife) his daughter Frances Hunt married Cary Mitchell. This bit of DNA finds its way into my Sowers line.
