Found in Frederick Co. VA Land Deeds Book 27 page 650, members of the Horsley family selling their portion of father's estate Richard Horsley dated 21 Apr 1802 & probated 6 Sep 1802. The following persons listed as then living in Boone Co. KY.
Samuel Horsley, Levi Horsley, Elijah Horsley, Richard Horsley, Andrew Horsley, John Horsley, Thomas Horsley, Peter LEHEW & his wife Polly (fomerly Horsley), Nancy Horsley Jr., Nancy Horsley Sr. & Stephen Horsley (their attorney & his in own right). They as a group selling to John Ellzey for $1000 their rights to their father's estate Richard Horsley 325 1/2a with all its houses, etc.....lying on the drain of North River & Crooked run at the line of Moses McKay, line of Jacob McKay, line of Job McKay, corner of Andrew McKay with Robert Whitacre. It being the same property granted by Lord Thomas Fairfax on 11 Dec 1777 to said R. Horsley.
The above Peter Lehew Jr. is the man listed on page 4 of my Tabulated Genealogy of Ann Elizabeth Lehew wife of Thomas Buck McKay. If researchers are interested in finding their issue I would look in Boone Co. KY first.
