I have been able to match with my sample 21 Autosomal DNA matches from this couple. 12 through son Wm., 6 through son Francis & their daughter Elizabeth 3 samples.
My grandfather Walter Eugene Shipp had Triplett ancestry and share Triplett ancestry with some of the McKay descendants of Moses Mackay Sr. who intermarried with Compton into Triplett family.
Ancestry "Family Finder" researcher "lukeandsally1" descend from this couple's son Francis now were are 7 from this line and 22 all together. This Triplett ancestry make up the blood lines of my Matilda Jett who married Daniel Pilcher.
This researcher also has Heiskell so could have another link with my Sowers cousin who married into this family.
His Milton a different family living in England well after mine had left for VA.

Found Ancesty DNA researcher "RM" does have the correct Jett line. We both descend from John Jett (1663-1716) & wife Elizabeth Triplett my line through son Francis and his through son John Jett (1695-1771) & wife Ann Elizabeth Wells
So we share Jett & Triplett. Both famlies intermarried with other of my various Frederick, Fauquier & Shenandoah Cos. VA families.
Researcher "H Lusher 9415" descend from this couple John who married Anne E. Wells. He is also a distant Branson cousin

Researcher "anabel_g_walz" descend of John and Elizabeth (Triplett) Jett's son John who married Ann Wells. I descend from another son Francis Jett. I do not see other surnames in common with this sample.

Family Tree DNA has the Y marker on file for Francis Triplett given as E-L117 or given on some sites as E-V13. This family could account for my 2% Italian/Greek or some site refer to it as Roman & Latin.
There are lots of Triplett living in Frederick Co. VA.
