robertmackayclan

Hi! My name, crazily enough, is Robert Mckay. I just thought it'd be interesting to type my name into google and see what it came up with, and I found this! I live in Scotland (the best country on Earth, in my opinion, but I'm hopelessly biased), and I'm posting this in a "something to tick off my list of stuff to do about talking to other people with the same name" kind of way. One sentence of background info of myself...I'm currently studying my PhD. in physics at Glasgow University, and I'm a huge Formula 1 fan!

P.S. I have the best name in the world (note, I am biased on this too).

Hi Robert
I am just wondering if their is the slightest chance that you may be a relative. My great great great grandfather was Robert Mackay born about 1807 in New Brunswick, Canada. He married Ann Macleod. My great great great great grandfather was Duncan Mackay born about 1765 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland died in New Brunswick, Canada. He married Margaret Sutherland. I have been trying to find some family information for many years. If these names are familar to you or someone else in your family it would be great to hear some information. Talk to you soon I hope. Have a wonderful day. Bye for now Tammy
