I have just finished my second grouping of wills for Frederick Co. VA in book form:

Frederick Co. VA Wills 1816-1837 sells for $20.00

It will have items that connect with the McKay family and allied families. Two families that I am interested in the family of Anthony Crum Sr., his will Book 10,343, mentioned one of his children as Katy SOWERS. The second will I am interested in John Campbell, his will Book 10,406, mentioned his cousin as Lucy STEPHENSON. He was the grandson of our Mary Sowers (wife of Jacob Sr.).

I now start on the third and last grouping of Frederick Co. VA Wills 1837-1865.

I thought someone was looking for a Philip Buck (really Bush). There were posting about him on this web page some months ago.

Found in my lastest Frederick Co. VA Will Book, found in Book 12

Philip BUSH--inventory probated 4 Mar 1824 does list his heirs.

Vance BUSH--will named his sibling and one of his sisters Barbara living in Germany.

There was also an Andrew Bush living in Frederick Co. VA.

I have not tried to tie all the above together, but my GUESS they are related and all being Bush not Buck. Most likely from Germany not England.
