Found in Frederick Co. VA Will Book 17, page 125 the will of the second wife of Abraham Brown--Sarah White, daughter of Nathaniel & Mary White. She was born on 20 May 1755 in Nottingham, Chester Co. PA. She married at Hopewell Meeting House, Frederick Co. VA on 12 Jan 1786 to Abraham Branson, son of Wm. & Elizabeth (Osmond) Branson. Found on page 164 of my book dealing with the ancestory of Ann Elizabeth Lehew, listed some of the people listed in her will. Since said Sarah (White) Branson was a Job/Jobe descendant also listed on page 26 of my Robert Mackay history.

The will dated 16 Jun 1829 probated 5 Mar 1832 named the following people:

1. Maria R. Branson (daughter of her step-son Rees Branson dec'd) to have her bed.

2. named as her daughter Mary Fawcett to have 1/2 of her silver spoons

3. named as her granddaughter Sarah Ann Branson (daughter of her son Wm.) to have the other 1/2 of her silver spoons

4. named as her niece Sarah SIDWELL (daughter of Elizabeth Purviance) to have $10. My guess at his point is that Nathaniel & Mary had another daughter named Elizabeth and married to James Purviance, listed in Hopewell Friends.

5. named as her sons Isaac & Thomas to have all remaining property.
