To update my family names for my great-great-grandmother Etta Double Sowers I am abtracting and compiling the originial records for Frederick Co. VA. I am going through wills and land deeds. I have already completed my first will book for Frederick Co. VA
Frederick Co. VA Wills Book 1-9 covering the years of 1743-1816 for $25.00 plus $3.50 postage and handling. Check or money order to me:

Yes, earlier compilers have done the above books, but they lacked the information I have in my book.
I have started the second will book Book 10-19 covering the years 1816-1837, hope to be finished by the end of the year. There will be a third will book Book 20-27 covering years of 1837-1865.
Next group of records to view the land deeds.
Hope when finished I will have the answers to all my question, but if not I will know at least I looked for myself.
Big questions to be answers--the maiden name for Jacob Sowers' wife Mary. The maiden name of Daniel Sowers' wife Catherine. The maiden name of Wm. Kerfoot's wife Mary ? and the maiden name of George Kerfoot's wife Peggy/Margaret Kerfoot.
Also I need more information for her Jinkins/Jenkins, Johnston, McKoy & Mitchell.
I plan to do all this in five years, but I do not know what the future may bring. My only two sons are directly involved in "the war". My youngest with the Virginia National Guard 29th Inf. stationed in Bagram AB Afghanistan. My eldest son with US Marine Reserve--4th Combat Engineer--stationed in Iraq.
