I don't know how many are aware that the old Lutheran church ruins located in Mt. Hebron Cemetery where Catherine Sowers was buried are actually the former site of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church which is now located in downtown Winchester.
Also, the Godfrey Miller Home, located on Loudoun St. which is used as a Lutheran Senior's home was originally the home of our ancestor Daniel Sowers Sr., according to one of the websites I have linked to the Bethel section.
I have a link to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church's website on the page "Other Churches associated with Bethel" in the Bethel Memorial section which gives some history of the old church ruins.
