Michael I have no idea if this was one of your ancestors or not.

Fauquier Co. VA Land Deed Book 23, page 372.

Jackson Robinson of Pr.Wm.Co.VA sold for $120 to Samuel Mooney of Pr.Wm.Co.VA all his rights & interests in the real estate of his late father Dixon Robinson late of Fauquier Co. VA. All except for his slave boy David. Recorded 1 Nov 1819, probated 24 Nov 1819.

No, this Jackson Robinson isn't, but I do have a Jackson Robinson, brother of my great (3x) grandfather, Archibald Robinson, who is buried out in the Upper Ridge Cemetery on Apple Pie Ridge Road in Frederick County.

He married Sarah Emmeline Wright who is a descendant of Robert Mackay Sr. going back through Margaret (McKay) Ridgeway, her grandmother.

I plan to have some info. on this branch in my partial genealogy records sometime soon.

How many Jackson Robinson lived in the area of Loudoun, Frederick, Shenandoah & Fauquier counties, VA?

It could be a problem keeping them separate.

Until you posted this thread I only knew of my Uncle Jackson.

How I keep them separate? Well, I know that I have the obituary of his son Thomas Wright Robinson.

Also, Jackson and Emmeline are both buried in Upper Ridge Quaker burying ground and he is mentioned in the Hopewell Records.

I don't believe there was another Quaker in the area named Jackson Robinson.

Speaking of Jackson Robinson, my dad's 1st cousin is also named Jackson Robinson.
