I do not have any marriage between a Jenkins/Sours for that time period. The only SOWERS listed are members of my group of Sowers, not Sours.

I do have Jenkins & Sowers families in my family tree. I do not know if your Jenkins was related to my group of Jenkins or not.

Your spelling of the surname Sours and not Sowers, makes me think your family is not related to mine.

There was another group of Sours who came down from PA about a generation later than Michael & mine Jacob Sowers.

Do you have dates for this couple ? Have you found them on the census ? If you are sure they lived in Clarke Co. VA about the time of their marriage, then I could find them on the census.

Found in my compiled book for Page Co. VA 1851-1880 about twenty male & female marriages together found in this book. I sell it for $16.00

Really think with the spelling of this surname you want Shenandoah/Page county of VA.

I believe the cemetery books done by Duane Borden has referrences to this surname.

So if your marriage date is after 1880, then I think you want to look at the registries for both Sheandoah, Page & Clarke counties, VA.

Also I compiled Shenandoah Co. VA Marriages 1854-1880 for $30.00, and I do not see that particular marriages listed. Just four Sowers & Sours listed in this book.
