State of VA film reel 3 Stafford Co. VA Land Deeds, probate date Apr 1838 named a John J. Fristoe & his wife Eliza Jane living in Howard Co. MO selling property in Stafford Co. VA to Wm. Carter, a tract containing 200a situated on Chappawamie Run in Stafford Co. VA. adjoining the lands of Wm. Jacobs, Byram Harding, Wm. Hooe, Elizabeth Williams & others, it being the property of the late Thomas Fristoe & his wife Lydia, as described in the will of said Thomas Fristoe on file in Stafford Co. VA.
We have two connection with the Fristoe family and our mutial families:
Found in my McKay book page 277 among the descendants of Moses MacKay Sr., Mary E. Johnson married a Lee J. Fristoe. The late Hunter Branson McKay supplied death notices for this couple, which are included in my McKay boo.
We also have a connection with the Fristoe family and our Lehew family. Rebecca Lehew married Isaac Skelton and their daughter Elizabeth Skelton married Thomas W. Fristoe (born 1827 VA).
I am not sure if and how these different Fristoe person connect.
