I thought I'd take this one back up to the top in case others looking at this forum might miss it.
Anyhow, I'd also like to see Uncle Lewis's grave but I'm not sure where that is exactly. I'm thinking it's possible he's buried at Green Hill Cem. in Berryville since that's where his parents & siblings are buried (except Dorsett whom I also don't know the location).
I received the Census document in the mail today regarding the Wm. Buck McKay family.
I think there's no question that Mary's entry contains errors. "Mary S. | Son | W | M | etc." Mary Eliza was her name and she is obviously not a son or a white male.
I am curious though about Uncle Beverly Brownley McKay's entry: "Beverly B. | Son | W | M | July | 1886 | 13 | S |
I've always believed he was born in 1887 and a plaque hanging on the wall at Bethel also indicates this. Check this page and you'll see the plaque:

However, I remember reading something else that gave an 1886 birth year.
Perhaps a trip to Green Hill is in order for me here soon.
If you've noticed on the end you'll also see "Bettie" | S-in-law | W | F | Jun | 1845 | 55 | S |
This is of course Aunt Bettie Heflybower, who lived with them for a little while. I've heard some interesting things about her. She never married and I believe she's buried in the old Brownley-Mitchell-Heflybower Cem. located near White Post. Burch McKay told me of the location once but I've not been there yet. It requires a long walk along a railroad track and trains run pretty fast through that section of the county.
