Frederick Co. VA Land Deed Book 24a p. 503

Stated that Nicholas Sperry & his wife Elizabeth sold to their two sons: John Sperry & Peter Sperry for 500 pounds a tract of land containing 291a, same property as once owned by Joseph Bowman and surveyed on 11 Dec 1773.

I do not know if one of these two Sperry men were the father of Mary C. Sperry born 1818 married to David McKay. They had two daughters: Laura C. McKay & Ann E. McKay.

Reel 45 Superior Court Land Deeds dated 14 Feb 1795 Nicholas Sperry (alias John Nicholas Sperry) and his wife Margaret sold to Thomas Vowell, a lot of land in the town of Winchester on Picadilla St. Lot NO 53, as described in the will of Peter Sperry probated 6 Feb 1774 with Catherine Elizabeth Sperry as executor.
