I'm heading off to attend the Collett-McKay Picnic in Ohio. This event is held every 2nd Saturday in August.

This gathering is made up of the descendants of Moses McKay (who married Abigail Shinn). He is a great-grandson of Robert Mackay Sr., descending in this line: Moses McKay - Andrew McKay - Robert Mackay Jr., - Robert Mackay Sr.

After this I will be going to Chincoteague, Va. for a week.

Saw you at the picnic. Couldn't wait to return home and look at what you had created.

It was certainly a beautiful day on Gurneyville Rd. at the 166th reunion.

Glad to see you posting here. Yes, I enjoyed the picnic very much and got a few pictures in that I'll be adding to the website when I come home from vacation.

One is of the Moses McKay house in Warren Co. OH and another is of the picnic grounds.

The house photo will go in the "Robert Mackay Clan Photos" section with a caption telling of it's involvement in the Underground Railroad.

The picnic grounds will go on the page about the Collett-McKay picnic.
