Found in Mr. Kerns' book "Settlement & Some First Families in Back Creek Valley"
Has the family history of Rebecca Wickersham who married in Frederick Co. VA on 7 Aug 1792 to John McKee. He would not be a member of our group of McKays.
Beatrice M. Doughtie page 196 credited the marriage of said Rebecca to "our" John McKay born 1773 died 1845, buried in Nineveh Cemetery. His wife's first name was also Rebecca. So we have to look elsewhere for her family name.

1. Thomas Wickersham from Sussex, England second wife Alice Hogge.
2. Richard Wickersham second wife Elizabeth McNabb
3. Isaac Wickersham married Elizabeth Fraiser
4. Rebecca Wickersham married John McKee
