Isaac & Anna had a daughter Sarah McKay (Dawson) who married a John Williams in Fayette County, Ohio 8/26/1828. Does anyone happen to know which McKay family this Isaac came from? Please advise and thank you for your help!

I have only a few books concerning records dealing with OH here at my house.
From what little you have told me, given the estimated birth date of Isaac McKay, I rather doubt you are a member of "our" Robert MacKay Family.
E-mail Charlotte Coats, address on this site, her family is from Fayette Co. OH, I believe.
Have you found Isaac McKay's name in land deeds in Fayette Co. OH ? For him to be a member of our group of McKay would have to state that he came from Shenandoah or Frederick Co. VA.
However, where were other McKay families living in those counties who are not related to our group of McKay.
More information would be helpful.
Good Luck.
