Frederick Co. VA Land Deeds Book 39, page 497, very short deed Dated Mar 1816.
The record stated to be divided "a tract of land in Frederick County, Virginia containing two hundred and fifty one acres, lately held by Elizabeth Brownley widow of the said John Brownley in right of her dower."
I would assume therefore both are dead and the deed named the following heirs of John: Archibald Brownley received 54a with dwelling house, Sally Earle wife of Esaias Earle, formerly Sally Brownley received 104a, Nancy Tuly (sic) wife of Joseph had sold their rights to Esaias Earle, as did Joseph & Harry Brownley.
From Frederick Co. VA Marriage Bonds:
Joseph Tuley & Nancy Brownley 25 Dec 1787
Believe we have other posting about him.
Esaias Earle & Sally Brownley 15 Dec 1785
His a well known family. Inter-married with
some of the allied families of Robert Mackay
family.
Archibald Brownley & Elizabeth Mitchell. I don't have a marriage date for them. Your line.
I don't know if I have more about Joseph & Harry Brownley, but I have not looked.
