Frederick Co. VA Land Deeds Book 41 page 439

Stated that John & his wife Elizabeth of Bullitt Co. KY confirmed an agreement made in 1810 to sell property in Frederick Co. VA to Harry Clist of Bullitt Co. KY, it being 1/5 undivided portion of a tract containing 100a on the waters of Opeckon with a water Grist Mill, left by her father John Campbell whereon Iver Campbell died.

Question is this a Ferguson & Sowers connection.

We know Elizabeth Sowres married John Campbell and was the daughter of Jacob & Mary Sowers. Believe it was her father's will named one son Iver, this land deed would point to four other children. Elizabeth removed into KY.

Who were the other Campbell children ?

Found in Frederick Co. VA Land Deed Book 37, page 19.

Wm. Wilson & his wife Catherine sold to Jacob Cooper of Winchester, VA two lots listed as 4/5 of an undivided tract which once belonged to Robert Campbell, Iver Campbell, Jane Knowbly wife of John & John Campbell, named as the four children of John Campbell, land issued to them in his will.

Found in Frederick Co. VA Marriage bond by John Vogt: Jane Campbell & John Noble 28 Dec 1798. Researcher should look for various ways to spell their surname.

My guess is that this is now a complete list of Elizabeth Sowers & John Campbell's children.

So of the five children of Jacob Sowers Sr. of PA/VA, Susanna who married a Mr. Williams is the only one who I have not found if she had issue.
