This is not new news, found in Frederick Co. VA Land Deeds Book 45, page 245.
Date 2 Jan 1820 Asa McKay gave his daughter Edith McKay his 211a farm in Frederick Co. VA with all household items, livestock animals, crops & slaves: Jane (woman), George (boy), Eliza (girl) & Caroline (child).
