Walter Tanquary married 15 Oct 1808 in Frederick Co. VA Abigail. Their children named in said deed as:

1. Rachel Tanquary died before her father married to Wm. O. Bond on 5 Oct 1826 Frederick Co. VA. Their daughter Levinia Bond married to Braxton D. Smith. Deed also stated that her widower married second to Sarah J. Bains.

2. Lucinda Tanquary b. 1811 married 18 Aug 1831 to Solomon P. Spangler. They had the following children listed on the 1850 Frederick Co. VA census: (a) Ann A. b. 1833, (b) Lucy Virginia Spangler b. 1836 married to Jacob Franklin McKay on 31 Jan 1854 see page 43 of Robert MacKay Family History, (c) Henry C. Spangler b. 1839, (d) Emma F. Spangler b. 1841, (e)Mary McKay Spangler b. 1843 married 1861 Winchester, Frederick Co. VA to Joseph Atwell Miller see Robert MacKay History page 59, this is the line of Virginia Miller who married Anson S. Jett, their daughter-in-law Frances Lehew (Cabell) Jett exchanged information with Hunter B. McKay, (f) Winfield S. Spangler, (g)Zachary T. Spangler b. 1847

4. Mary Jane Tanquary married 3 Jul 1834 to Amos H. McKay.

5. Mildred Tanquary married to Gabriel C. Harris

This man would be related to mine McKay, Lehew & Branson. And he would be a distant cousin to my grandfather Walter Eugene Shipp who had Jett ancestry.
