I've read the brief account of the Job family that was found in Dee Ann's latest book on the Mackays and there are numerous connections with Andrew Job's family and that of Robert Mackay's.
There are also intermarriages within my Steer family as well and the Job descendants.
Because of these numerous connections I can safely say that if you are a descendant of Andrew Job you are definitely related to most of Robert Mackay Sr.'s descendants.
I'd welcome any Andrew Job descendant to our annual Robert Mackay Clan Reunion. If you come you would definitely be among family.
This family does have an importance for tying up connections within the Robert Mackay family.
