Michael I think there is a very good change that our mutal ancestor Cary Mitchell was the son of Wm. Mitchell & his wife Elizabeth Anderson.

She was the daughter of Thomas Anderson. He was a
blacksmith, removed from NY to VA.

Do you know this couple Wm. & Elizabeth Mitchell ?

I've not heard of them myself. Basically what I have is what you sent me in the past. I haven't done a lot of research on the Mitchells myself.

I know that Betsey (Mitchell) Brownley, the mother of Sallie (Brownley) Sowers who is the wife of Fielding L. is buried at Bethel.

I think she was (along with Fielding & Sallie) buried somewhere else but my late uncle Beverley Brownley McKay had them removed to Bethel where they would recieve better care.
