In the notes of the late Hunter Branson McKay he exchange information with distant McKay cousins who knew they were the descendants of Benj. Borden of RI. His descendants had business dealings with our Robert MacKay of Shenandoah Valley & marriages
occuried between the two families.

Now as it has turned out unknown to Hunter, he too was a descendant of the early Quaker pioneer Benj.Borden. His line through Elizabeth Antrim.

1. Richard Borden of Kent, England m. Joane Fowle
2. Benj. Borden b. RI d. NJ m. Abigail Grover
3. Amy Borden b. 4 Mar 1685 m. Josiah Foster of RI
4. Wm. Foster m. Hannah Core
5. Elizabeth Foster m. John Antrim
6. Caleb Antrim m-2 Sarah Garwood
7. Elizabeth Antrim m. Jacob McKay III

Last couple as you know buried in Nineveh Cemetery, Warren Co. VA. I have submitted a book dealing with the families connected to Elizabeth Antrim, located in Salt Lake or can be rented on microfilm. I did submit her complete ancestry to the L.D.S. computer bank, but of the computer disks submitted by George R. Vernon & Bob & Verna Vernon all my documented material considering this family was thrown out by the people in Salt Lake. The ancestry they submitted (from the Jobe Newsletter) incorrect for the parentage of Jacob McKay Jr. His parents were Jacob McKay & Elizabeth Wright, not Shinn. They mixed up the wives of his father Jacob McKay Sr. as well. I am listed as a source for this incorrect information.

I am assume you, Michael, already have the good information about Benj. Borden, do not use what appears in L.D.S. computer bank. That's all mixed up wrong.

I think I remember you sending me some info. in the past. I knew about Jacob's wife being Wright. I've never visited the LDS files. I sorta considered them the "forbidden fruit" of genealogy. Nice and pleasing to the eye but deep inside it's wrong. One can get himself turned around upside down real easily there if they aren't careful.
