The 64th reunion of the Wilmington High School class of 1947 was held Saturday, Aug. 6, at the country home of Fred and Carolyn Matthews.
Members started gathering midafternoon and enjoyed viewing pictures of past reunions, reading greetings from members not able to attend and catching up on each others activities and families. Classmate Kenneth Trickler of Coalmont, Tenn., called and talked with members he hasnt seen since leaving Ohio in 1970.
After the meal, catered by Fred and Carolyn Matthews, the annual class picture was taken and members continued to visit into the evening.
Those attending were Dick and Joan McConnaha McKay of Hillsboro; Tom and Jeanne Murray Boyle of Leesburg; Wilbur and Louise Cline of Bellbrook; David and June Harcum of Reynoldsburg; and Dwight and Marjorie Jackson Drummond; Charles and Shirley Conner Lakatos; Roger and Marilyn Sprague and Fred and Carolyn Matthews, all of Wilmington.
