Dear Bethel Members and Friends,
This is the time of year when the Trustees of Bethel Memorial invite you to our Annual Lessons and Carols at Old Bethel. As we all know the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread at an alarming rate and the future has never felt so unpredictable. COVID-19 is present globally and is our community is no exception. It is for this reason that we will not be having our service this year. I have been going to this service since I was a very young man. I can't recall a time when the service had to be called off. The Lessons and Carols Service has always been one of my favorite holiday traditions. These are challenging times for all of us and we hope you are in good health and spirits.
We are enclosing our 2020 dues and contributions envelope. We have a long list of continuing restoration projects planned as well as the occasional emergency repair! Your tax-deductible gift to Old Bethel will help us to keep one of the oldest churches in Clarke County in good shape. Please join us in supporting this community asset and the role that it serves in our community.
I will look forward to seeing you all at our Annual Meeting 2021 in August as well as Lessons and Carols Service 2021.

Covid-19 Announcement.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, our annual Lessons and Carols Candlelight Service scheduled for Sunday, 20 Dec 2020 is now cancelled as well. We hope everyone stays safe and look forward to seeing all of you next year. Please continue to send your donations to us during this time.
During this time, Bethel still needs donations to help fund the care and upkeep of the Church and grounds. |

Due to Covid-19 the Annual Meeting and Traditional Service scheduled for Sunday, 23 August 2020 has been cancelled. We will miss seeing everyone at our annual event. A decision will be made later concerning our annual Lessons and Carols Candlelight Service scheduled for Sunday, 20 Dec 2020.
