THE HONORABLE JILL HOLTZMAN VOGEL
We welcome The Honorable Jill Holtzman, Virginia State Senator. She represents the 27th District
which consists of the City of Winchester, the Counties of Frederick, Clarke, Fauquier and parts of
Loudoun. She is a wife, mother and small business owner as well as a nationally recognized
attorney. Mrs. Vogel has served on many boards, commissions and committees for the Virginia
Senate. She has also served as Trustee of the Board of the Virginia Outdoors Foundation and
serves on the Board of Directors of Belle Grove Plantation. She resides in Fauquier County with
her husband and children.

Dear Members and Friends of Bethel:
The Bethel Memorial, Inc. Annual Meeting and Traditional Service will be
held on Sunday, August 26, 2012, at 11:00 AM.
Our speaker will be The Honorable Jill Holtzman Vogel, Virginia State
Senator. She represents the 27th District which consists of the City of Winchester, the
Counties of Frederick, Clarke, Fauquier and parts of Loudoun. She is a wife, mother
and small business owner as well as a nationally recognized attorney. Mrs. Vogel has
served on many boards, commissions and committees for the Virginia Senate. She has
served as Trustee of the Board of the Virginia Outdoors Foundation and serves on the
Board of Directors of Belle Grove Plantation. She resides in Fauquier County with
her husband and children.
The Reverend Karin MacPhail of Cunningham Chapel Parish will be the
officiant. Peg Albritton will serve as the organist.
Special music will be provided by Madeline MacNeil.
As always and immediately following the service, rain or shine, our traditional
covered dish picnic will take place under the oaks. Please bring a lawn chair and food
to share. If you have any questions regarding the picnic, please contact Janell
Hoffman at 540-837-2607.
Ongoing restoration projects are a continual financial need. Please consider
making a tax-deductible contribution to Old Bethel. Click on this link for a form for 2012-2013
dues and contributions. Join us in support of Bethel and the role that it
serves in the community.
A favorite of many is our Christmas Lessons and Carols Service will
be held on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at 5:00 PM. Mark your calendar!
We hope to See you at the Meeting on August 26th!
