SEASONAL DECOR: Nancy Doherty helps decorate Old Bethel Meeting House for its annual Christmas service, scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m.

     Old Bethel's annual candlelight Christmas service will be held Sunday, Dec. 17, at 4 p.m.

     Ian Williams will lead the service with Glenna Gibson, a student at Shenandoah College singing Christmas carols, accompanied by Ann Hudson on the organ.

     Hot cider and cookies will be served following the service. The public is invited.

     Old Bethel Meeting House, an historic church held in trust for the people of Clarke County, is located in Clarke County, approximately one and one half miles west of the Shenandoah River.

     Take Rte. 50 to Rte. 625 and go south two miles, turn right onto Rte. 622. Old Bethel is on the left.
