In 1977, Mr. Alexander Mackay-Smith printed a little piece on the history of Bethel which was included in the proceedings of The Clarke County Historical Association. This gives an account of Bethel Baptist Church from it's early days on up to the formation of The Bethel Memorial, Incorporated.
